PRIVACY POLICY

PRADA is committed to respecting the privacy rights of all of the contenders and entrants of its Contest and hereby informs you that any personal information (hereinafter “Personal Data”) you provide to PRADA to enter the Contest and in the course of the Contest itself, will be processed in compliance with the European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of Personal Data (hereinafter “GDPR”) together with the principles and rules of conduct contained in the Prada Group Code of Ethics.

1. Type and source of Personal Data
PRADA collects and processes the Personal Data you directly and knowingly provide during your voluntary participation to the Contest. The items of data collected are: first name, last name, location, email address and phone number.

2. Purpose and legal basis of the processing
Your Personal Data may be processed and used by PRADA:

(a) within the purposes of the Contest, to verify the Contest contender’s identity, to contact you for any communication or information related to the Contest and for any other uses and purposes set forth in the Terms and Conditionsof the Contest, including the possibly use of the contender's name for the publication of the Winners and further advertising and promotional purposes of the Contest. The personal data processing is necessary to provide the services requested and perform the connected pre-contractual and contractual obligations to manage the Contest and guarantee its correct and regular execution;
(b) with your free and optional consent, as a result of your subscription to our newsletter service, to send you (by email) newsletters on new collections, events, campaigns and special projects and other marketing communications regarding Prada and the other brands and initiatives of the Prada Group. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link as set out in all our email correspondence or writing to us at the contact addresses indicated in Section 8. Failure to consent for receiving the newsletter will not affect your participation to the Contest.

3. Nature of the provision
The provision of data is optional but necessary for the participation to the Contest and any refusal to provide the data required in the mandatory fields of the collection form will prevent us from allow your participation to the Contest.


4. Method of processing
Your Personal Data will be processed exclusively for the purposes for which they have been collected and according to criteria of lawfulness and correctness and protecting the security and confidentiality of data through the adoption of appropriate measures to prevent loss, alteration, cancellation, destruction, unauthorized access or not allowed processing or not in accordance with the purposes of collection.

Whenever necessary and/or instrumental to the abovementioned purposes, PRADA may delegate the processing of Personal Data to outside service providers (i.e. other Prada Group companies, business service providers), who will process data on behalf of PRADA within the scope of the work outsourced and under a contractual obligation of confidentiality of the personal data and ensuring the adoption of technical and organizational security measures that guarantee an adequate level of protection of the rights of the data subject.

Certain Personal Data (such as name and surname) of the Winners of the Contest may be public disclosed in accordance with the Contest Terms and Conditions.

5. Disclosure and dissemination
As PRADA is part of an international network and uses global services your Personal Data may be transferred abroad in accordance with applicable legislation, including to locations outside the European Union, by adopting all appropriate security measures and safeguards to ensure an appropriate level of data protection and security.

The Personal Data transferred to the third parties will be retained only to the extent necessary for the purposes of the service provided and to meet any regulatory requirements in accordance with any applicable laws.

6. Data retention period
The data will be processed and stored (i) as long as required to carry out the purposes for which the Personal Data were collected or (ii) until you revoke your consent to the processing of your Personal Data, if applicable.

7. Your rights
Please note that you may exercise your rights under current legislation on the protection of Personal Data at any time by writing to the Data Controller at the contact details indicated in the next paragraph.

In particular, you have the right under the GDPR to request information as to whether your Personal Data is being processed and as to the characteristics of the processing, the right to rectification and erasure of your Personal Data, to limitation of the data processing, and/or the right to object to the processing and/or to request the transmission of your Personal Data to another data controller and/or to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including the Italian Garante per la Protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it) or take legal action if you believe there is non-compliance with the provisions of the GDPR.
