Prada Linea Rossa for Red Bull athlete Kriss Kyle
Prada Linea Rossa is once again partnering with a Red Bull athlete who has taken on an extreme challenge, BMXer Kriss Kyle. Set in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lavaux, Switzerland, the rider has expanded his horizons riding through the striking nature of this location, never explored before by any mountain biker.
The Lavaux Vineyard Terraces, spread on the lower slopes of the mountainside between the Geneva lake and the villages across, became the set for the athlete’s bicycle stunt riding.
Prada Linea Rossa, inspired by the human body and the duality between the demands of movement and advanced textile development, supported Kriss Kyle providing functional clothing for the project. Breathable, lightweight yet strong, heat-sealed as opposed to stitched, the clothes feature extreme technicality, allowing the freedom of movement necessary for this discipline.
The results of this challenge have been portrayed through a dedicated video where the athlete showcases the tricks done in a specific route built from the team on site. This is the latest event in the partnership between Prada Linea Rossa and Red Bull, which aims to promote unique sporting initiatives and the talent of athletes by helping them to reach their outstanding goals.
Cultivating the dream of becoming a professional bmxer from a young age, Kriss Kyle saw his first significant win at the Transgression Skatepark Jam in 2008. Later, Kyle became a resident at 23 Unit, one of the largest indoor skate and BMX parks in the United Kingdom. His entry into European competitions, established him as one of the most energetic and exciting bmxers globally. In 2012, he set the seal at the prestigious Simple Session event in Tallinn, and his participation in the Red Bull Skyline project in Paris established him as a world-class performer. Since then, he has continued to earn points for competing in the X Games.
