JULY 14 - AUGUST 27, 2006, PRADA EPICENTER LOS ANGELES
On the night of the Waist Down opening, the flat aluminum façade of the Los Angeles Epicenter hosted a road show of mesmerizing video images of the skirts. Various architectural features of the Epicenter - the see-through display hole “buried” under the front-side floor, the storefront that is always left open to Rodeo Drive, and the hill leading up to the upper floor - were all appropriated to the exhibition and redefined in surprising ways.
