Camille Bidault-Waddington
As soon as Camille Bidault-Waddington turned eighteen she went to Paris to study at the prestigious art school Penninghen, and then later to Studio Berçot.
Right after graduation, thanks to Marie Rucki, she started working at French Vogue , as a intern and then as Marie Amelie Sauvé’s assistant. It was in 1997 when Camille moved to London that she met editors Katie Grand, Charlotte Stockdale, Katy England and Harriett Quick, as well as designers Giles Deacon, Stuart Vevers and many others.
She began her career as a freelance fashion stylist at Dazed & Confused and later shot for The Face and Self Service where she was featured in the first issue with photographer Horst Diekgerdes.
After returning to Paris seven years later in the early 2000s, she was well known within the industry and due to her close relationship with Martine Sitbon and Self Service , her unique style led her to work with photographers such as Nick Knight, JuergenTeller and Mario Testino, for publications such as Dazed , Purple and AnOther.
Camille went on to style the Marc by Marc Jacobs Show from the first season, and did so for fourteen years while also working with Christophe Lemaire at Hermes for four seasons.
Deeply immersed in the global fashion scene, she has collaborated with Phoebe Philo,Yvan Mispelaere, Clare Waight Keller, and Hannah MacGibbon for Chloe. Camille currently lives in Paris, where she works as a consultant and her collaborators have included Chloe, Victoria Beckham, Cartier, DVF, Miu Miu, Zara, Schiaparelli, Marc Jacobs, Hermes and Fendi.
Camille is the Fashion Director of Vanity Fair France while regularly contributing to Dazed, Purple, Dior Magazine, Document, M LeMonde, Document, AnOther, Double, Self Service and System working with photographers such as Karim Sadli, Craig McDean, Angelo Pennetta, Mario Sorrenti, Max Farago, Viviane Sassen, Harley Weir, Sharna Osbourne, Collier Schorr, Casper Sejersen, Robi Rodriguez, Jamie Hawkesworth, Anders Edstrom and Paolo Roversi amongst others.

Each Prada Possible Conversation will also result in a donation from Prada to UNESCO, whose work during the COVID-19 pandemic focuses on the importance of culture, creativity, and education for over 1.5 billion students worldwide affected by school and university closure, as well as on a programme to increase international cooperation in science. Supporting their initiatives across the globe, this is a further demonstration of the vital exchange between fashion and society.
