An atmospheric new Prada pop-up store dedicated to the brand’s menswear collection on the first floor of the Isetan department store in Tokyo recalls and reinvents the visionary set designs of Fritz Lang’s 1927 cult sci-fi masterpiece Metropolis.

This striking setting provides the backdrop for a special selection of men’s garments and accessories that stands out for its bold range of textiles. Satin, techno-stretch fabrics and the iconic Prada re-nylon create jackets, trousers and Bermuda shorts with flowing forms and simple blue and black hues, and shirts, also available in blue-and-white stripes. Black leather features prominently, used on a belted jacket, 1960s-inspired bomber jacket and trousers.
The iconic Prada Triangle bag, meanwhile, revisits an emblematic Prada shape, and is offered in black, talc or light blue deerskin, with the essential embossed logo in a matching hue and an enamel-coated metal triangle logo on the reverse.
