A surreal atmosphere
Starring young creatives Afra Al Dhaheri and Fatima Al Ameemi, the images dedicated to the selection, shot against an urban backdrop in the middle of the desert, take inspiration from a continuous interplay of light and shadow. The pieces in the collection stand out against this simple yet intense landscape, where heritage going back millennia blends seamlessly with uncompromising modernity.
The Collection
The selection combines sophisticated silhouettes from the Prada Spring Summer 2021 collection and specially designed pieces for men and women. The rarefied, almost surreal atmosphere, in which nature plays a symbolic role, gives rise to the pure design and clear-cut volumes of bags, accessories, mules and sandals, which take centre stage, as if drawn onto the panorama by the intersecting rays of light.
