Prada Extends
Prada Extends - a series of live events travelling across global destinations, created with and curated by British-Canadian electronic musician Richie Hawtin aka Plastikman - uses the unique, universal connection of music to unite different cultures and geographies in conversation. For its latest iteration, Prada Extends moved to Bangkok, a city where history and modernity clash, for a new celebration of the power of music on June 29, 2023.
Inspired by the power of creative dialogues and exchanges, the Prada Extends events on June 29th began at noon with a conversation at the Prada ICONSIAM store between Richie Hawtin and the international media platform Mixmag Asia, exploring this unique project and the power of music today.

In the evening, at the Warehouse Stadium in Bangkok's Khlong Toei district, the Prada Extends line-up included, along Richie Hawtin himself, Vietnam-born DJ and former model BongBongQuayQuay, Bangkok-based DJ and music curator Elaheh, and Sarayu, DJ and producer, also known as a member of UNSTๆ, an electronic artist collective based in Bangkok. Their evocative music fused with visual arts from two Thailandese talents who have worked closely with Richie’s long-term visual collaborator Ali Demirel. Chaiyapat Natt Plubsiri aka yellowtrash, who creates digital artworks in forms of Visual art, 3D, Lighting and interactive installations, as well as Supitchkran Sriprasert, also known as Footprints on Mars, an electronic DJ and visual artist whose work focuses on exploring the aesthetic possibilities at the intersection of music, art and technology.
