Prada Linea Rossa is once again collaborating with Red Bull on its unique sporting initiatives by supporting athletes who achieve their goals during extraordinary challenges.

In the latest development of this ongoing partnership, double Olympic snowboarding champion Pierre Vaultier pushed his boundaries with a one-of-a-kind performance on a snow pump track built on a partially frozen lake in Serre-Chevalier, located in the French Alps. Challenging aesthetic norms and technical snowboarding skills, Pierre navigated through a narrow ice track only 50 centimeters wide, showing impeccable precision and agility.

Inspired by the human body and the duality between the demands of movement and advanced textile development, Prada Linea Rossa equipped the athlete with clothing designed to meet the complexities of this challenge. Breathable, lightweight yet strong, heat-sealed as opposed to stitched, the garments provided feature Prada Extreme-Tex in two weights, offering antistatic, antibacterial, and thermoregulation properties via a unique graphene membrane. This fusion of design and performance allowed Vaultier to explore a new dimension of snowboarding and express all of his potential.

About Pierre Vaultier

Born in Briançon, Pierre Vaultier quickly established himself as a major snowboarding talent, particularly in snowboard cross. He started competing at the age of 10, and after winning the French Championships and finishing third at the U18 World Championships, he joined the French national team. His record is impressive: two-time Olympic champion (2014, 2018), 2017 World champion, 2016 World Cup winner and six-time winner of the Crystal Globe. Pierre Vaultier is one of the greatest snowboard cross athletes of all time. Since the end of his career, Pierre Vaultier has been working with Red Bull to push the boundaries of his sport. His performances on Shapes, Reshapes, Red Bull Dual Shapes and now Floating Shapes are a demonstration of his technical mastery, boundless creativity and constant quest for excellence.
